Since graduating from Napier University in Edinburgh, Richard has been at the forefront of the synthetic sports surface industry, consistently working to set the standards for both performance and durability.
Throughout his 34-year career, He has embraced the core values of integrity and innovation, and uses his strong leadership and vison to produce high-end, quality results and long-term solutions on a variety of global projects, including the quality control of major construction and the development of equipment and test methods for Global Sports Governing bodies. Richard has been involved in the design, project management or testing of more than 1,000 sports facilities.
Richard is a founder of Sports Labs Ltd., and responsible for developing it into a leading global consultancy practice and international sports surfaces test institute.
