Hillary Dixon, Research & Development Engineer
Hillary graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. While working on her degree, she completed the biomedical engineering option within the mechanical department and worked as a research assistant in the Advanced Medical Technologies Laboratory on campus.
After working as a Mechanical Project Engineer running onsite product development testing, Hillary joined the Research and Development department at Sports Labs in the winter of 2016. Since starting at Sports Labs, Hillary has been involved with several research projects focused on improving the understanding of the direct interaction between player and surface and how to use this information to improve surfaces and standards. Additionally, she manages all wearable device testing, specifically player monitoring devices for World Rugby and electronic performance and tracking systems for FIFA.
When not at work, Hillary plays for a 2nd division football team in the SWFL or can be found enjoying the Scottish Highlands hiking Munros.
